We play AAU ball. Everyone wants to shot. You better not make a pass, you won't get the ball back. BTW, no one wants to play defense, especially guard against a three, or rebound either.

7-15 free throw shooting at half

We have to quit allowing teams to shoot 60% for a half. It's going to happen some but it's happened to us a good bit this year

Down by 4 at the half. The defensive effort has been atrocious . They are 7/12 from three. We are lucky to be as close as we are. If we will play a little D we can win this. Peters never came back out. That is worrying.

We gave up 88 to Kentucky, 91 to Tennessee, and 43 at half vs Missouri. We are abysmal at defense of late. I'm not pleased

They will cool down from the 3 point line. Play D and if Peters come back we should be fine

Good heavens, Mizzou shot 62% in the first half. Probably would have not shot much better had we not even been out there on defense.

When your defense AND rebounding is as bad as ours I don't see how you can ever consistently win games.

Yeah, 5 strategically placed folding chairs on the court would have slowed them down more in the first half.

I know part of having a young team is being up and down but my God we look like we have taken major steps backwards. We could give 2 shits about defense. People wonder why no one wants to go to games, I blame no one for not wanting to buy a ticket to come see us look like absolute garbage vs the worst team in the SEC.

Weatherspoon is the difference in the game for us right now. We are up 3 currently but if we didn't have him we would be down double digits.
