Time to let Tiano or Williams get their share of this beating.

Not to mention late hits on Fitz on just about every pass play.

The refs miss so much against Bama that a new normal takes place within the game. Holding & PI becomes ok because it wasn't called early

Shouldn't have ****ing hired him in the first place. Period

They ****ing held on every play in the first half to go up 30-0. Every big play they had was broke open on a hold so yes the refs had a huge impact on making this a blow out.

Quit trolling... we were a 30-point underdog. Stop acting like Mullen is the reason we aren't winning this game.

No one said they were, but they certainly affected some plays throughout the game that have helped eliminate any chance of MSU putting up a fight.
Your comment is absurd. The score shouldn't matter in calling the game fair.

Injuries haven't helped, but when the most talented safety on the team in Brandon Bryant is a lazy quitter, I don't know how much can be done. Mac is improving, but he was raw coming out of HS. We all know Coman's limitations. Peters has moved to CB because of injuries. It has just been the perfect storm at DB this season. Not to mention all the crootin misses there the last few years.
Definitely feel your frustration, though. We're in a tough spot no matter how you look at it. Change DCs, change systems, ensure everyone on the field is thinking about where he's supposed to be, the coverage, his responsibilities, etc. That makes you slow and look lost. Keep the system, maybe guys play faster because they're more comfortable and finally know where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to do. Then they can just run to the ball, which is really the key to defense. My problem is the shitty tackling. That's correctable and we don't seem to be doing anything about it.

We could put 11 folding chairs on the field on D and it would slow bama down more than our players.

No, you are only partially right. The refs have nothing to do with the fact we were never winning this game. But, they are exactly why it is as bad as it is.

Yes I can, and glad we do! He's a great coach and has done a great job building MSU up.

Exactly. We have contained Hurts surprisingly well. But then someone about to sack him would be tackled like you were watching a DL tackle a ball carrier.
