That would be the best possible scenario. I hope it does motivate him that they should have drafted him sooner. He has electric stuff and is a great talent. If he comes out motivated, he can shut anyone down.

It's pretty obvious what they are doing. Drafting lower level prospects so they can under sign them and over sign the later rounds.

Or it doesnt matter at all because he already had a deal in place. Who knows.

It sure looks that way.

I would think Hudson will be elated once he's picked no matter what. I doubt he's going to be sullen because he went 35 instead of 15.

Yep. Teams could be going under slot, though at this point in the 1st round that's unlikely. More likely is that the guys who have fallen have done so because a team has told them they will pay them over slot with their next pick.

I agree. I don't think it's gonna matter to him and he'll be ready to go. I mean he knows he's getting drafted. Not like he's worrying about it and chances are he already knows who's drafting him and how much he's gonna make.

Yeah, that elation will come after his name is called, but I bet he's melting pretty good right now

Yes! First round pick to the cards!
-
Great, glad he got picked by the Cardinals. Last pick in the first round.
-
Happy for Hudson... Good organization, but I still hate the cards
-
Hudson is going to the Cardinals and will likely get paid more than $2 million. Bet he's pissed**
-
Hopefully this gives him motivation to prove to others he deserved to be picked higher. I hope we get a great start out of him tomorrow.

I would think the next player/commit would be Robbins, though I'm hoping he doesn't go anywhere.
