Orvis just launched his 9th hr. That's my criticism of Rea. He just never developed power. I'm not sure if he's to blame or Cohen, but Rea should be every bit the power hitter than orvis is

It's only baseball guys. Jeez it's not like it's a MAJOR sport or something. Seriously, college baseball IS very much a minor sport. Baseball itself is a dying sport, thank goodness. Paint drying and all that. Yes, I have been to a couple of games at Dudy Noble this year.

I was a student during the Clark-Palmario years by the way. It was still paint drying.

Who said anything about Waddell starting over Rea? Way to put words in peoples' mouths.

From what I've been told he's just lazy and doesn't act like he wants to be playing. That doesn't have the making of a good leader, whether he asked to be a leader or not.

You shut your dirty whore mouth. MLB is thriving. $300 million dollar contracts. $6 billion dollar cable contract deals. Go on any corner in NYC right now and you'll hear people talking about the Mets not the Jets. Baseball doesn't have major concussion problems and players saying they'll boycott unless an owner is forced to sell his team.

Whoever is in charge of teaching hitting is to blame. He has not received proper teaching. For one thing, His hands aren't far enough back in his stance for power. Secondly, his hips open up before his upper body comes through most of his swings. The reason he drives the ball the other way with decent pop is his hips do not open up like they do on an inside pitch and the power increases. Hands are supposed to open up the hips. Not the other way around. He swing is disconnected and any decent hitting coach could change every one of the things in a month or two in the off season.

LOL, that is too funny. I'd still trade the baseball program lock stock and barrel for one SEC title in football. I bet the majority of our fans would too.
