Cory Thomas is a RFR... Fletcher may contribute at some point this year, but it won't be early. We won't need him too have to early.

You said it was hypocritical of "us" taking about younger guys stepping up. We need one young guy, a redshirt freshman, to "step up" on our 2 deep DLine. And he is second string...
You suck at trolling

What young guys are we relying on to play right away? Only one comes to mind... he's an offensive lineman, of freaking course.

See last year when myself and C34 had a certain stance not shared by many others...

For the record... I've said nothing negative about MSU since I began my excursion this morning. Simply looking for the reasoning behind some of the thoughts that come off of this page... that is all. Think of it as a psychology experiment.

Well maybe they've been answered 😉

Basically- we only expect a handful of R-Fr or Fr to play any snaps for us. Almost all the 2-deep is 3rd yr or better guys
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

As is ours... yet... there's some grave difference in experience? This is my argument. We will rely on about 2 frosh to be in the rotation, and about 4 red shirt frosh... that's not starting, that's just in the rotation. There's absolutely zero wrong with that, either. So the experiment continues.

Javon Patterson, Rod Taylor, Demarquis Gates, Shawn Curtis, CJ Hampton, Marquis Haynes, Stringfellow, Jordan Wilkins. All those guys are sophomores or younger and either start or are going to play a lot.
As of today's practice, State doesn't have a single underclassman running with the fist string offense or defense

Marquis Haynes has more than proven himself, but is a 2013 prep guy (3 years out)... Stringfellow is a 3rd year guy... 2nd in our program... Wilkins is a soph and has plenty of experience from last year as you well remember... Hampton, Gates and Taylor played last year as freshmen, but weren't really in the rotation. They will be this year. But did I not just get through saying we would be seeing about 6 first or second year guys in our rotation? None of those you listed outside String, Taylor, or Patterson will start. More and more one sidedness to the lame argument. That's all I'm trying to point out.

You might want to tell one of your bloggers then. He has two 'croots starting at WR and Rawlings starting at center over Still.

Yea... Todd, there's a reason they're begging me to write for them. Struggling, bad. Zach Berry at RCR is way more trustworthy than Dave and Acey, and he tries to be funny... it's hilarious how terrible they are when it comes to actual analysis.

Conyers will easily start at center... I can't believe you even...

You are comparing apples to oranges. You were implying that State and Ole Miss are in similar situations. As I pointed out, State currently is not expecting a single underclassman to start. Ole Miss cannot say the same. The situations are not the same. You can beat around the bush and say "oh well, he has played some, he's a 2nd year guy, he's proven himself, ya da ya da,". Isn't that being "lame" and "one sided," and skewing things in your favor?

I'm not trying to skew them in my favor... I'm simply pointing out the inaccuracies of the argument. 6 underclassmen in a rotation is nothing... every major program has at least that many if you look around the nation. All I said from the beginning was how when OM fans talk about young players stepping in, you guys generally crucify them... yet expect no backlash when you do it yourself. That is all... point, blank, period. Don't over complicate things.

That doesn't count because it's Ole Miss. At least that's what he is thinking.

That's some Smitty level back tracking right there.
