Vickerson is arguably our hottest hitter, we sit him. People speculate it must be disciplinary, but it turns out not to be when Cohen pinch hits him. Leaving everyone scratching their heads as to why Vickerson wasnt in the lineup all game. Stupid.

Pinch hit arguably our worst bat with bases loaded and 2 outs and down 2. What in the absolute **** was that?

Why cant we have one single game where we dont do dumb, head scratching, self inflicting, garbage?

I really like Cohen, and i seriously think he can be a coach that can win us a Title one day.....but I am truly starting to wonder if he is just turning into an idiot, or if his insistency on having some "stamp" on each game is going to be his downfall.

Quit over thinking stuff, John. Baseball can be a simple game when you recruit well..... Put your best hitters in there, put your best pitchers out there, and get the hell out of the way. Quit worrying about matchups, quit thinking youre smarter than everyone, and let the talent you recruited go out there and win games for you. At least that way, we know you put our best against their best but just didnt win, if we lose. The way youre doing it now, we are losing AND we think you're either becoming dumb or meddling too damn much in an attempt to be the hero.

Its doubtful we would have won tonight regardless...but throwing Reynolds out there was about like throwing the keys to the bus driver

If your coaching is dependent on having the BEST anything in the country, or a 1st round bat just to be semi successful (16-14 SEC record) then it's not very sustainable. Keep pumping a couple hot weekends Todd, Homedog, etc. State of the program fellas. Ours ain't good. Please don't tell me about the recruiting either. Until they actually produce I don't want to hear about croots.

Vick said before the game he couldn't go due to a bad neck. True or not true I don't know. But I do know Cohen isn't stupid enough to bench his hottest hitter.
