OM luck continues, Wright State bases loaded, 1 out....

Batter hits a hard-liner, but right at the SS, who "gets the call" on doubling the runner off 2nd. Looked to me the runner got back in time, but blue saw it differently. OM wins the rubber match.

They just lost a projected starter to tommy John this weekend. That will be a big blow to them come conference time.

It was mega-close call at 2nd, and I agree the runner looked like he got back.

That said, NO excuse for the runner to get caught that far off the bag on a line drive hit toward the SS.

    I'm stupid.

So that's only the case when it's the same two teams playing in the DH? If only one team plays 2, they both go 9?

It's actually agreed upon beforehand by both teams. Sometimes they choose to play nine.

Side note- I'm glad we don't do 7 innings for double headers. Baseball was meant to be played for 9 innings, IMO.

Sean Johnson, a big JUCO pitcher.

A pitcher named Brady Bramlett has come off of injury from last year and been very good. Some of my UM friends have been less than impressed with Sam Smith though. UM will have a good team this year. They have played some pretty solid competition to this point.
