No. It Laster control issues not the seams. He's missing with fastballs.

A lot of pitchers have said they like them, too. Laster's just off.

He has to learn to adapt the umpires zone.

Neither would I. For 2 reasons. 1 we are up big and hitting well. 2. Ross does better following a pitcher that throws a little harder.

Big K there. If you can get out of this inning unscathed or only giving up 1, I would save Mitchell.
-
And nothing but fastballs. Still need to leave him in and see if he can get 2. Got to see if he can pitch out of trouble early in the season.
-
Well nevermind. Ross threw his 2 warmup pitches so he's ready.

I'm gonna quit streaming and let's see if Ross gets us out of this mess.

Maybe they just use him for this one DP and not waste him Bc he wasn't in pen long at all. If he does leave him the next inning Don't be surprised to see Ross get hit hard in this game. I hope not. But he doesn't do as well following a guy throwing mid 80s. If they get the DP here look for that to be it for Ross.

Lol Ross looks like he should be standing at an intersection holding a sign that says will work for food.
-
If they are smart that will be it for Ross

Well, Ross Mitchell is a big stud.

Well looks like Ross won't be starting Game 3.

Nah. Leave him for an inning or 2. Start Sexton this evening and McCord tomorrow Ross available tomorrow.

That's not why I didn't want it to be Ross. He obviously has even more impact coming in after a guy throwing hard, but that only lasts for a while. He's still a stud when he starts and goes the full game.
He's effective because he changes speeds and locates, not just because he's a change of pace.
