From the "they can do that" department

@SportsCenter: BREAKING: Nets & Bucks reach deal to send coach Jason Kidd to Milwaukee for pair of 2nd-round picks. (via @Chris_Broussard, @ESPNSteinLine)

I bet Jason never thought he would be traded AFTER retiring from play.

Even though it's happened a few times now, the concept of trading coaches is still pretty odd.

You would think a guy who did so much for the organization as a player and just got out of the first round in the playoffs would be worth more than two draft picks.....

He traded himself. He went to the Nets management and complained about pay. He used an offer from the Bucks as leverage and the Nets called his bluff. Now he has to go to the worst team in the NBA and gets a bad rap for taking the job from a coach that still had the job. At least he gets paid, I guess.
