The bears will throw Sam Smith tonight.

I think game 3 will be who can swing it the longest with out mental errors...both teams have plenty of pitching

Prediction:
Ull 9
OM 6
Sam Smith 5-4 with a 3.39 era, 98 hits in 87 innings pitched, 18 walks, 47 strikeouts, .282 opp BA
Cody Boutte 9-0 with a 3.09 era, 76 hits in 81.2 innings pitched, 26 walks, 54 strikeouts, .250 opp BA

Seems pretty evenly matched.
Knowing Bianco I wouldn't be surprised to see Ellis pitch some innings tonight.

OM has leaned on their Friday and Saturday night starters all year long and have just hoped for the best on Sunday.
The pitching edge tonight goes with ULL and Boutte. If Boutte can shut them down early and ULL can get a lead on them early that may be all she wrote.
They key is going to be walks and errors. Both teams can mash the ball, so you can't give them more opportunities at the plate than they already have. If ULL doesn't walk the 2nd guy in the 8th last night, OM has a runner at 1st with one out instead of 1st and 2nd with no outs. IMO that play and dropping the ball at center changed the game. If you don't walk the guy you have a runner at 1st with 1 out and if the centerfielder doesn't drop the ball you have a runner at 1st with 2 outs. Instead the runner from second scored after the dropped ball, that douche Orvis hits a single to load the bases and Bortles has a 2 RBI single.
I think ULL wins something like 7-4. Gets a lead on them early and the Bears can't catch up. That's what I'm hoping and praying happens at least.

I figured ole Miss would win the second game but lose the third. They will lose the third game for the same reason they lost five Sunday SEC games and mid week games like to Southern. They have two aces that goes Friday and Saturday. They have two good closers but after that they are just average and Ul-L will eat them up today.

I think ULL lost some of it's intimidation/home field advantage last night. Ole Miss played lights out yesterday and ULL choked late in the game. I think the Cajuns are a little nervous about getting Omaha. It's going to be a great game tonight.
