    Our 1-4 guys in the lineup are 5 for 32 for the weekend, yet State is 2-0 against the rebs.

    Teel is 0-9, Reese is 2-9 in the first 2 spots.

    Pitching and timely hitting today. Defense and timely hitting last night, with Foster and Pitzer bookending last nights win.

    Tomorrow, we need hits all up and down the lineup and put some runs on Townsend and get in their pen and blow it open.

    They have burned Libbert, Hancock, Rabe and probably Hooks for the weekend.

    If we sweep them they might implode. Especially after losing to Memphis during the midweek. They have some pitchers who aren't 100% either. Bianco is good enough to pull it together to get to a regional though. Rough week for them no matter how you look at it.

    I would have to believe that Townsend is on a pitch count of some sort. We just need to grind out AB's and work him out of the game like we did with Elliott.

    The Sunday game vs Arkansas seemed like a legitimate loss. UCLA was a fluke loss. So was USM. Arkansas Game 1 was poorly managed. I basically agree with you.

    That's the thing. We're winning these games, but frankly you wouldn't say we've had anyone other than Tico get "hot". Maybe chance? But yea I'm not see the hot streak yet and we're already winning games handily. When we turn on the april may heat - we could go astronomical in wins.

    Let's sweep and run rule them tomorrow.

    Nice win today. Really impressed with our pitching recently. Basically starting the Vandy series through today our entire staff has done well, even with the loss of McPherson. Our offense is doing enough but we have been rather ordinary in SEC road games. So far our runs scored in the SEC on the road are 4, 7, 3, 5 and 6. Not terrible but not what you would expect from a team with hitters all through the lineup like we have. Hopefully we get into double digits tomorrow and take some of the pressure off our pitchers and pull off the road sweep.
