Any thoughts on our line movement?

We have gone from -4.5 to -2.5 on Fan Duel. Its my understanding Isaac Smith and Booth are not playing in the bowl. I assume Tony Mitchell is out as well. Has anyone heard of others?

Why would Smith not be playing?

I mean you will see Gayten more than usual. Outside of that I really do not know. We seem to be pretty good from an opt out standpoint or losing anyone.

Depending on how things shake out with Evans and Thompson?s waiver, and probably regardless tbh, I think you will see Ayden have a much larger role. John David Baker is working hard to bring him back to Ole Miss.

Defensively we are going to need some guys to step up in the back end. With Mitchell not with the team and Issac and Manning not playing, you are going to have to have some guys really step up in the back end. Oddly enough, Burnside screwed himself going into the portal because he could have put some tape up in this game for teams. That more and more tells me someone has gotten into his ear and his mother?s ear and told them he could play WR somewhere next year.

Yikes. I forgot about Manning not playing. So who does that leave at S.

Non-playoff bowl teams are SO different from the teams that played all regular season that I'm not sure how anyone could bet on anything with any confidence. These bowl games are the true meaning of a "crap shoot".

There?s money to be made if you can figure out opt outs and/or motivation. Ole Miss last year was a good example over Duke. Darts last game + multiple Duke opt outs.

Well UNLV wasn't/ Playing a team that just fired it's coach for "Other Things"/ UNLV looked like a 3 ring circus out there. Hell they tackled themselves. Then USM looked like they were going to win and WKU puts in the 2nd stringer and they whipped their butts. Bowls are hard to figure out, even the CFP.

    Mullen factor.

Some coaches treat bowls as a reward/vacation. Other coaches play to win. I never bet against Iowa in a bowl game for example.
