Why did they pay him 6.8 million? He would have taken the job for half that and they could use the other half elsewhere.

Carter was pressured to do this. Weis was the obvious choice but lil Petey wouldn't have been retained.

Chambliss will be gone and Simmons looked like a smoking pile of sh!t this year. I hope he is their QB
