OM is luckiest team alive...
They get the #6 seed over Texas A&M even though A&M has the same SEC record PLUS a win over out of conference foe ND on the road. OM now gets Tulane in the first round who they have already beaten like a dog during the regular season while A&M is stuck with playing Miami who, personnel wise, is one of the most talented teams in the country. Difference between being the 6 seed versus the 7 seed this year is HUGE.

I agree. That was a terrible decision. However, they get to play Georgia in round two. Georgia will destroy them this time.

Not sure what the point was in A&M going out of conference and playing a VERY tough game like ND when it did them NO good. Whereas OM used Washington State out of the defunct PAC 12 as their supposed 'power conference' game for the year. Geez.

Same with Bama. That FSU game has everyone up in arms because it is part of the 3 losses. Never play a game like that again. It's meaningless. And make sure you take a knee if you are about to win yourself into the SEC Championship game. It's 100% meaningless. While the 3rd, 4th, and 5th place SEC teams get to sit at home and rest.

Or Texas playing Ohio State week one where they lost 14-7. Skip that game and Texas is in as another 2-loss SEC team that's in the playoffs.

Yep

A 12 team playoff should be the 12 best teams. JMU and Tulane are not top 12 and that gives two teams easy first round games. Also a little silly to have two rematches in the first round.

Yep,

This is such a shame. Tulane and Jimmy Madison have NO business playing. This is big boy football. I guess it the times we live in “inclusiveness”.
I have said it a bunch of times, the big conferences need to have their own playoff. The G5 need to have their own playoff. Some network would pay big to have the rights to a G5 playoff. Fox sports, CBS, NBC, Prime video, Paramount etc.
The fake plantation owners get the easiest of everything. Regular season in the SEC and now the playoffs. What the 7!

As an old coach would once say, “lucky as a two dick dog son”. IYKYK.

ND and Vandy should've been in over James Madison and Tulane. This isn't basketball

I've got no problem including one G5 team. There are one off strong teams and it gives everyone something to play for. Two is crazy though.
Just expand to 16, take one G5 and call it a day.

No doubt about it and Vandy should be one of those inclusivity teams to boot. Just a travesty.

OM schedule was a joke. They really only beat one good team OU. Tulane meh. Now a rematch against the worst team in? Been more interesting if JMU was going to Oxford.
-
No way they should've scheduled a rematch. Tossed FSU completely when they lost their QB so they could've bumped OM for losing their coach.
-
Ole Miss is ahead of aTm because their road win @ OU is better than aTm road win @ND. aTm only beat 1 ranked team while Ole Miss beat two. Now, I personally think OU is a paper tiger and that ND is actually better than them, but do have the better resume when it comes to wins
