Operator Won?t Ya Put On Thru

Heavy smoke out of Oxford and Red Stick tonight that there is an all hands team meeting in the morning. Lane is expected to inform his team that he is leaving Ole Miss for LSU. The Cajuns seem to believe he will be in Baton Rouge and meet with his new team Sunday.

I still am kind of in the I will have to see it to believe it mode. To walk out on a CFP team who has a legit shot to win a national championship would be absolutely insane.

Man, Kiffin and Sexton are playing this for maximum exposure. Saturday, prime collegiate football day, all eyes on him.

Hypothetically, they should make a rule that says no new coaching hires can start working until the playoffs are over.

That would require a change to the transfer portal calendar, and they'd probably need to finish the playoffs by the end of December. And they should do all of those things.

I wonder if that little cat fight with Ben Wait is going to be Kiffin's excuse for leaving?

I respect the hell out of you Steve but there is 17 little chance they win a national championship. The grown child is walking away from that playpen to grown man money and a real chance at an NC.

They do need to make some changes with those deadlines. I think pushing the playoffs back actually would be the hard part. It's doable I think. The conference championship games kind of get in the way a little bit.

It just shows how totally unprofessional fan boy media is. He got what he deserved. I’m no fan of our types of these clowns, they do us no favors at all.

He did. And I agree. But I also think Kiffin should have handled it better as well.

    I’d like to agree.

But I can 100% see having an issue with a fanboy media type making that comment after you’ve brought his program to heights they’ve not known in modern football. I’m actually on kiffins side on this. He said it to his face and didn’t make a scene if no cameras had caught it.

Garrett acted like an absolute ass clown. He said what he said and then acted like a cry baby when Kiffin called him out on it. Like you said, fanboy media is absolute trash and completely unprofessional about 90% of the time. Now saying that, Kiffin handled that situation like crap. He should have just paid him no attention and then he could have thrown a shot at him and the fanboy media at his LSU intro presser.

Garrett is a slightly toned down version of Yancy. Hell he tried to fight Neal McCready in the parking lot of the baseball stadium back in the summer over something stupid and then said he had an alcohol problem.

Well, things are going to be interesting for sure........Things are going his way for sure today for the most part........He took care of business today...........UT beating aTm.........Now, I don't expect Auburn to beat Bama but stranger things have happened in that series......

Oh yeah, his son's OHS team just lost in the north half in the final minutes of the game to Tupelo, 21-20......His son is a good QB but he fumbled the ball away as they were driving late that sealed the game for Tupelo but there's no denying the kid is good.......

Edited to add: They aren't winning a natty and he knows that. Could they win a game, sure. Two if they got really lucky and had a good draw.

What? Remove the maroon glasses, they can absolutely win it this year. There's no dominant team... at all.

If anyone does it will be Indiana because their coach is legit a miracle worker with a number 72 composite team ranking
