Dont write our girls team off, they are 6-1 with a good win against a very good Davidson team who only lost by 2 points to #7 Baylor. Our only loss was against an undefeated Texas Tech team that beat us by 7 and we had a huge lead in that game. We will take some lumps because of the youth and inexperience but our girls can be good... they need the support more at this point

Alot of yall were worried about Jans leaving. He isnt going anywhere anytime soon. And what makes this worse in Ole Miss looks really good in basketball too

Ole Miss doesn?t look that great so far. They lost to a bubble team in Iowa and a bad Utah team. To be fair, I am sure we will lose to Utah too but they still aren?t very good and 120 in KenPom

Tonight was our best played game of the year. Jans finally made some adjustments to our rotations and how we have defended. Unfortunately, we missed some key free throws late and crapped the bed on the final possession.

I didn't know they lost to Utah but they did beat Memphis and beat SE Louisiana by 30.. we barely beat SE Louisiana. Ole Miss will have a good team, Beard will have them in the thick of things. Id take 5-2 over 3-4 all day

Beard will probably have them rolling some SEC play, but that Utah loss is going to be a quad 3 loss and they don?t have any quad 1 or 2 wins yet. So they are essentially in the same boat as us right now.

Im watching LSU vs Depaul.... Nwoko has 13 points right now and is leading the team in scoring at 19 ppg. They know how to use him! They run offense through him and he delivers. I ask again, how are guys leaving State and going elsewhere being the go to player?

Yea, wish we still had him but looks like he made a good decision for himself. He definitely wouldn't be scoring like that in our offense.

Because other teams actually run offenses unlike Jans, and guys tend to play better when their coach is not constantly chewing their asses out. Jans needs to change his approach or this will continue to happen annually. The portal giveth and the portal taketh away and it?s all on players terms!

I completely agree bro! I see the difference, Jans is a hard nosed coach but it doesn't translate well. The yelling and cussing at kids doesn't work

The issue is it can't be a SINGULAR style approach. Some kids will be motivated with that approach and others won't. It can't be just one way. All good leaders understand this. It was Bobby Knight's downfall because he wouldn't change either.

Well Jans ain't Bobby Knight. The yelling and cussing with losses looks bad. No one will want to play this way. Jans has to figure it out but yelling at players obviously isn't going to get us wins. Players are leaving his program and performing so much better. Thats on him

Epps is scoring more than last year under Jans. I think it's way too early to compare full season stats with less than 20% of season stats.

Winning can hide a lot of sins. Losing gets scrutinized.
