    Lebby has lost me

This is from his post game presser:

Question: What does Blake provide at QB that Kamario does not to keep the starter's job?

Lebby: It's decision making and having the ability to not waste a play. We knew we had to come in here and not play perfect, but had to give ourselves a chance to not waste plays. That's the reality of it. 1 does some great things and we understand what kind of player he's going to be. In a setting like this, I don't think it's fair to have him play 75 snaps. Blake gives us the opportunity to not waste a play. Frustrating that both interceptions end up in touchdowns, they end up in their hands, and spot them 14 points. That's a huge piece of the game.

So Shapen doesn?t wast plays? All those times he just folds like a cheap tent are plus plays? Not fair to play 75 snaps???? 17 fair, fair goes out the window after pee wee football. All that matters now is winning. Fair, LOL.

Per passing attempt, Taylor is sacked more often. So the whole fold like a cheap suit does rise to reality. They both ran the ball yesterday and had it just been Taylor who took all the sacks, his rushing average would have been less than the 2.2 per carry that he did get.

Jeff Lebby has the worst winning percentage as a MSU head football coach in the last 100 years.

He went in down 24+ points. Context matters. He’s trying to sit back in the pocket and complete long passes to try to catch up so he’s not running. Give me a break.

Nope. That would mean he only was sacked once. He was not. He is averaging 1 sack per 8 passing attempts for the season. That also negates the whole "his legs can get us out of OL issues". He averaged 2.2 yards per carry yesterday. Second, if that is what he was doing, then why did he run it? Why did he hand it off?

He wasn't in the game to lead a come back at that point. He was in there to learn.

Taylor is going to be an awesome QB. But we do not have a QB problem. We have a line problem. That's why both QBs were taking TFLs and sacks.

Yeah KT can't waste plays throwing pick 6s (two) to the other team like Shapen can. Sorry at this point just such a lame excuse BS.

This is an imperfect way to calculate it. If either qb take off running on what was a pass play, it doesn't get factored into your sack rate. No idea how many of these for each their are

If you think KT takes same sacks as Shapen, glad you aren't coaching us or picking next HC. How bout how many TDs KT has per play vs Shapen? Look that staggering info up. If you transfer that to Shapen's snaps then we are undefeated.

Lebby's SEC win-% is worse than Derek Mason and Rocky Felker. If not for Chad Morris, potentially the worst SEC W% ever. Yeah, he had some bad breaks but his resume sucks.

He will still be coach in 2026, but This Egg Bowl may be for his career.

I said the same thing when I watched. Blew my mind some of the things he said. Also said we need to be able to run the football more, meanwhile he is calling 25+ designed QB runs with Shapen when we got 2 more than capable running backs literally not touching the ball. But hey it's all because us as fans don't give away all.our money and net worth to NIL.

"We're not good enough to overcome those things."

    No shit, Jeff.
