The similarities are starting to get real real obvious. That and the softness, being their friend more than the HC is a lot alike

Lebby needs Shapen to graduate for his job security. He's not a very good coach with him. He's given Shapen the reins of the offense to do what he wants and Shapen wants to play hero ball.

If playoffs are your goal, then yeah, it's pretty much hopeless. But if just getting to bowls again with a chance to sneak in the playoffs every 4 or 5 seasons, then we just need a good coach. Lebby ain't it. We've hired guys that can do that 2 out of our last 5 hires. The biggest mistake was Moorhead: if we made a good hire with the 2018 team, we looked totally different as a program now.
Exactly ...but I think we'll need a top to bottom change to get the program back to a respectable level. That starts with Keenum and Selmon before we make another HC hire.
