He would almost have to run the table. He may survive 8-4- meaning only 1 more loss.
So we are looking at UPig/Fla/Aub likely being open so far

Dan at AU would be interesting.

On top of everything- Arnold got 2MM to go to Auburn. We give our starting QB in the area of 500K. We cant afford Him.
Candy is paying QB's 2MM and we are here paying the players discount prices

Sell. While I think we would definitely take him, he is not going to be looking to go to a situation where he has to compete for the job.

In the words of Tommy Norris, Billy Bob Thornton's character in Landman, "That's easier than selling p___y in a men's prison."

If Okie falls flat might add them also.

Honestly, this is one reason I don't want Dan back. He's constantly looking for other jobs. He's already inquired about Arkansas and you know he will reach out about Penn State. He has been at UNLV for one half of a season and he's already shopping himself around and is already on his second DC there.
Could you imagine if we brought him back after Arnett and he was already looking around- we would likely be right back where we were at the end of 2017 but without the long winning season streak.

I'm fine with KT being the guy next year, but I'm also concerned because he has such a long way to go. I'm anticipating a lot of growing pains with him. We really could use a veteran guy that can come in and play some to steady things when he struggles. Kind of like Matt Wyatt and Wayne Madkin in 1999.

Then we need to aim higher than Arnold. We would also have to MASSIVELY overpay to get someone that knew they probably would not be the starter. A guy like Carlos Del Rio Wilson at Marshall or honestly the guy at Washington St, although I think he is out of eligibility.

What's the situation with Kro-Hawk??? Is he not able to help at all?

Garth Brooks' unanswered prayers song seems very appropriate here. Thank god we missed on him.

Agree.
Only way I would consider is for a massive buyout if any school wanted him. That would be a win for MSU if it happened.

All I'm saying is that if Lebby wants him because he thinks Arnold can win more than Taylor can, I'm fine bringing him in.

Arnold has not looked that great at Auburn, but I think there are some other factors at play there. 100% agree if Lebby feels that Arnold would be the QB we could reasonable get that gives us the best chance to win games then I am all for it. KT has the potential to be a great QB, but from everything I hear the coaches do not believe he is ready to be a starting SEC QB in the near future. Distant future, I think he has the ability to be great if he keeps working hard and developing.

We gonna see a Chicken Hawk/Taylor battle this Spring. I expect Taylor to take the job. He will have a much better grasp of things after Spring Ball

He is but he will most likely lose the job to Taylor. He has too much working against him and his dad will not take to social media and call the coaching staff racist if the staff chose Taylor. I have a feeling Mario Taylor would go on a Twitter barrage akin to some of the stuff DJU dad or the Iamaleava camp tweets out when they are unhappy if Kromenhoek won the job.

Yeah Lebby is gonna have to be careful with his dad. Saw he was already tweeting subliminal stuff the NIU and TN game then tried to walk it back the next day. And this is without his son starting, gotta imagine he gets even louder when KT starts and he doesn?t like a call or game plan. Never understand why parents do this it embarrasses their kids and makes them look foolish.

It'll be interesting to see how Lebby handles that. Hopefully it's a big nothing burger.
