    August 1st.......It's Prediction Time

Well folks, we're finally through the slog of late June-July and it is finally football season once again. Which means it's time for predictions.

Most Valuable Offensive Player: Davon Booth
    Breakout Offensive Player: Brenen Thompson

Most Valuable Defensive Player: Issac Smith
    Breakout Defensive Player: Jamil Burroughs

Shapen Pass Yds- O/U 3200. I go SLIGHTLY over at 3300
Shapen TDs-O/U 25.5. I go over. I think he'll have 22-24 in the air and add another 5-6 on the ground. So I'll say 30

Booth Rush Yds- O/U 900. I go under because of also having Bothwell. I say 850, but I think he'll have over 1000 scrimmage yards.
Booth TDs- O/U 11.5. I go JUST SLIGHTLY under at 11.

Bothwell Rush Yds- O/U 700. I go over. I think he and Booth end up both around 850.
Bothwell TDs- O/U 10.5. I go under. I think he'll have between 7-11 but lean more towards 7 than 11

Ayden Williams Receiving Yds- O/U 450. I go over by a hair. Like 475. I think he'll have a couple of big non con games that inflate the numbers a bit
Ayden Williams TDs- O/U 4.5. I go under at 4

Anthony Evans Receiving Yds- O/U 500. I go under. I think he ends up around Craver's numbers last year. Something like 400-450 with 4-5 TDs.
Anthony Evans TDs- O/U 3.5. I go over and say 5 because I think he takes a punt or a kick back against someone.

Brenen Thompson Receiving Yds- O/U receiving yds 800. I go over. This is your Kevin Coleman for this year. He's going to be our go to and he's got legit breakaway speed.
Brenen Thompson TDs- O/U 6.5. I go over. I think he gets to 8 for the year.

Now the big one, no not O/U of how many games Shapen is healthy, how many wins to we get? I'm setting the O/U at 4.5 and hell, I'll hammer the over. 6 wins. I think we get all 4 non cons, Tennessee, and then find a way to beat either OM, Mizzou, or Arky.

We are in the Twilight Zone. In the past we always had a understanding of what we were in for since we knew what we had coming back and how they did last year. For that matter we knew what OM was capable of also. Now with the complete F up joke college FB has become no one has a clue as to what will happen. Heck who are these players anyway.

Going to be another long year in a 2/3 filled DWS to boot, but we will be there for year 58 in a row as season ticket holders. Hope that I eat this prediction big time.

Th sports media got exactly what they wanted: well paid star players for the top 12-15 teams to create a Super League without the Top 12-15 teams having to play each other. They still get the benefit of beating up on the alsorans and the have nots to keep those sterling records going into made for TV playoff football!

We all know if there was a Super League of the Top 30 teams, then you would have several 8-4 teams making the playoffs because of the competition and they cannot have the chance an 8-4 team runs through a 3 game streak and then beats a 12-0 team. Atvrhey same time they don't want 10 8-4 teams at the Top with no 1 loss or undefeated teams. That would also kill the Golden goose. Then they would have to figure another way. So this way, they keep their darling 6-8 best of the best because they beat up on the States and Kentuckys and Northwesterns. Hell, our own fans want us to schedule hard non-conference games for the "better" atmosphere! BS. We need 4 guaranteed wins every year and we as fans need to fill the stadium for those games too!

Well hell! Some of our fans been hyping Jans for 3 years and he ain't won a damn true NCAA tourney game! Lebby gets the hype or being some sort of genius offensive coach and everyone has seen proof that Kiffin was the brains behind that football team when Lebby was there. And let's not forget the hype Lemon Lard Butt got for sitting on a bucket while 3 players recruited by a previous coach literally put the team on their back and willed them to a championship his fat ass gets credit for. So sure, Thompson may thevthe fastest guy on our team with stone hands but we need someone to hype up because last years scrubs couldn't beat a powder puff team.

Why do you think it would be luck? Blown calls or injuries or rain or something?

    3-9

Zero downside risk with this prediction.

VERY LITTLE upside opportunity with this prediction.

So a hard bet 3-9 and last in the SEC.

AND of course I hope I'm wrong.

We will be underdogs in both games with one being on the road.

Jan has us relevant in college basketball making the Tourney- which is your goal to begin each season. Bobby Knight lost in the 1st round 7 times in his career. It happens. We have only made the NCAA Tourney 3 straight years one other time the entire history of the school.

Lemon won a Natty and that cant be taken away. You also forgot that Lemon recruit- Bednar- turned into Superman in Omaha and was as big of a part of that title as anybody. Lemon was unable to continue the program at the level it should be and was justifiably fired.

4-8. We are twice as good as we were last year! Our schedule is just too tough.
I just really want to see good improvements (an offense that’s look some what exciting and at least a competent defense) that at least increase our stock in recruits eyes. Praying to overachieve and get to six. Would be a massive job by Lebby if so.

Arizona State is a tough game, but a winnable game. Similar talent, actually we maybe a little better on paper. We have to have a fast start and that's what worries me most. We can't be fouling up drives like last year.

Probably. But regardless, Was just wondering why winning either would be strictly the result of luck instead of outplaying them.
