Some of our most important pieces were already here, keeping them was huge. If they left it would have been rough.

Are we after their lead off hitter? Aiden Robbins - was the big East hit king batting .422 on the season. McMullan following him on Twitter and he is in the portal.

Looks like ‘26 SS/OF Noah Danza from NJ has committed to us. Was committed to VA. Good sized kid, 6’2”.

Kevin McMullan is getting players with power capability. Milewski is 6-5 235. This is the biggest non pitching dude on the team. Hunter Hines was 6-3 210, was our biggest dude. Ace Reece is 6-3 200.

Even with Becker and Ford not coming, this is already feeling like a solid and balanced slugging lineup. Vystas Valincious is 6-4 240, hit 348 but low power at Illinois. He has room to improve but his BB/K rate is like Nate Lowe, another huge dude with a high average.

That's a big pickup but man.....he's gotta be legit. We don't really have anyone behind him that you could count on if he's not as advertised, gets injured, or his game goes to hell for a few weeks.

Perspective on Ryder Woodson the NC State Kid from Wolfpack fans:

They are upset he was not starting earlier and would be a starter for them, had he stayed.

He finally got playing time in the Regional and was excellent.

I’m wondering if they are planning on the Woodson kid being the starting SS.

That would be my guess since we've apparently struck out on Becker.
