My problem is that he can be a major asset to our pitching staff moving forward. I would like to know why he hit the portal. Was it Parker not being retained (Parker likes Dotson upside), or us not having a PC announced? It?s not like he was not utilized in several different pitching opportunities. Surely it?s not money, bc we have top 3-4 NIL in the SEC. 17!!!!

He is an alright player for a collegiate 35-man roster. As a returning Junior, this was his year to maximize himself. He must like JP or Lemons so much he can't stay.

Or he feels bad about blowing the 2-0 lead on FSU. He would have been a toasted legend had he bagged 4 or 5 scoreless innings and earned MSU a win.

I bet Wright State, slayers of Vanderbilt have some talent for the portal. Griffen Page shutout Vandy for 8 innings! Whistlers going crazy! Dotson could never face whistlers without walking the bases loaded. Then the lefty at East Carolina that shutout Florida. Both sophomores.

The freshman class that graduated in 2023 was the 9th rated class in the country according to D1 Baseball. I can't remember right off the top of my head where Baseball America had it. It was top 10 though.

Well, we have ZERO players left from that class.
