Hadn't heard anymore news about Muscara since the weekend. I'm just ready to start seeing movement now. Guess we'll hear the full staff and plan Thursday night maybe. I'm ready to start seeing movement in signees from the portal by the end of the week too. No time to sit around. Time to jump in that pressure cooker we said they next coach had to be prepared for at State.

I mean who additional outside of Grant, who has not been with the team since April, and some guy who wasn’t on the roster have announced they are transferring today? Black announced last week.

Rumors say Virginia wants Walter from Wake. If so that could throw a monkey wrench in Muscara as he'd be a lead candidate to take over Wake. So idk what's going to happen. (I'm learning to phrase better after getting slammed over bad Pico info. lol)

Nobody. Pritchard wasn't even on the 40 man roster. Every one else was gone or hurt already. So nobody like you said.

This is just a hunch on a couple of things and trying to piece them together a bit.

1. Steve and Faulk both seemed to think there was some consternation on the part of Muscara and that Parker staying may be a possibility.

2. Tom Walter, HC at Wake, had been mentioned as a potential candidate at UVA and the thought was that if he takes that job Muscara would be a shoo in for the Wake HC job.

3. Fast forward to this morning, Walter is having to do damage control for what the cameras saw him saying about Fischer last night so that probably threw a wrench into a potential job with UVA.


Just trying to tie everything together, I wonder if Walter’s slip up last night cost him the UVA job and that has caused some ripple effects that could end up with us getting Muscara after all. On the other hand, Wake could use this issue to do what they have wanted to do for a while and get Muscara in the head chair. I think there are a lot of potential moving parts on this one and we need to remember that just because he agrees to be the PC here does not mean that someone couldn’t still offer him a HC job a week later.

If it's not Muscara, it seems the benefits of keeping Parker (retaining McPherson and foster) would be pretty high. If we let Parker walk, have to think Oak has a guy he wants.
