What's the deal with Iloh? Did he even play football this fall?
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

Is Keenum expected to be a 3 yr starter at C for us. How many years does Sylla have to play?

Probably for the transfer board but I'll answer. I doubt Keenum starts this year, I think Carson Lee ends up at Center. But if he did win the job, yes we would have him for 3 years. As for Sylla, he'll be a RS Junior. So we'll have him for two years.

Sylla has never redshirted. He has 2 to play 1.

Interesting. I thought he had RS'd this year. You may be right though. He's played more than I thought. Didn't realize he actually played in every game his Freshman and Sophomore year.

Just got another commit. JUCO LB Montreal Chapman.
Anyone have anything on him? Not seeing many good offers. Interesting late take for us.

He'll be a guy that will fight for a roster spot in the Spring. We have brought in a few guys like that.

He is our worse ranked commit per 24/7, HS/JC at a three star .83, National 64, position 4 & State 28. If you look at our JC commits their offer sheets are pitiful for all but about two . No SEC offers for any of them except us & OM. Maybe Lebby was right on signing day that he was glad to have signed some big guys for the Scout Team to practice against. Did we have little to no talent from the starters to the Scout Team. This is very concerning & the vast majority of these JC signees may be as big a bust as Jackie's haul of about 20 jis last year including the entire Western AZ JC DL line. Time will tell but on paper no SEC talent as per interest from our SEC opponents.

Then he may be cut after spring. A lot of these JUCO guys that we brought in, were brought in for depth and practice bodies. I think we brought in 10 or 11 JUCO guys. I would say all but 2, maybe 3, are going to be practice bodies and fighting for a roster spot in the spring. I would venture a guess that Mitchell and Miles are the only two that are going to be fighting for starting spots. Clinton and Lafeau COULD get to that level. They both have the bodies to play their positions.
