I?ve been told this by multiple people. Obviously it was worded a lot nicer, but this was the message and momma didn?t want him at Ole Miss to begin with with and this was the final straw.

Only downside is that the kid doesn?t want to be here.

If that kid TRULY wanted to be at Ole Miss, he would be at Ole Miss. They would have found a way. The actual story is that the decision was made late yesterday afternoon that he was coming to State and then Pete Golding was blowing his phone up last night and got him to wavering. When his parents got to the school it was a foregone conclusion he was signing with State, that is why TJ was even there. It is also why he was wearing an Adidas jacket. He did not let them know he was picking OM until right before he walked on stage. He realized about 3 PM he had made a mistake and we have been working things through with the family since. It was made easier by the fact that the mom never signed anything with OM

Was also told that. We helped Lockhart realize he screwed up. Lebby made it be known he was not being played on this one. We were about to go scorched earth and his brother would have been in the path of that.
