If he plays the way he did tonight he won’t make it to us. Dude took some massive shots

I’m surprised he hasn’t been hurt. LSU was laying some hate on him. OM O-line is suspect.

They left points on the field too with their 4th down attempts they didn't make.

Oh yeah. And I'm not saying that I think we win- I don't. But I don't think it's going to be 65-0 either. More than likely I think it will be a game like today where we score some points but can't get stops.

Maybe if they lose another game. With their schedule I can't see 9-3 being good enough to get in the playoffs. And I think a home playoff game is probably out of the question unless they win out.

They lost to KY. Go take your meds

Yeah I could see this happening. They were all in on the playoffs and that ain't happening.

That just about kills their chances. Say they run the table, a 2 loss Tex, UGA, BAMA, UT would still for sure get in over them and SEC is getting 3 teams MAX

Here is OMs other problem. Who is left that could be a marquee win? UGA will have AT LEAST two losses coming in. Oklahoma is terrible, Florida will have an interim, and then there is us. I mean are they going to try and hang their hats on a road win at Arkansas or USCe being the reason they should be in the playoffs?? I see no way back for them outside of running the table and I think it is marginal at that level they get in. They were done in by a Charmin soft schedule and not winning the games they should have won.
There is a world where, without the playoffs as a possibility, they go 7-5.

That's a good point about Georgia having two losses that I didn't consider honestly.
You are 100% right about their schedule doing them in. And that's the thing about their schedule- they had to pretty much run the table almost to get in. Beating the tar out of Furman isn't going to move the needle.

What I am enjoying the most is all that money they spent. And all that money they will have to spend in the future just to retain wonder boy, the greatest coach ever and for sure playoff coach. Hahahaha
Also, all the crap I have heard from the ole miss faithful with their smugness about not only were they going to the playoffs but how deep a run they were going to make in the playoffs. Hahahaha

This^. When they were running through mighty Furman and Middle Tennessee all I heard from those smug bastards were who they were going to host in the playoffs. I mean, not if they were going to host, but who it would be and how much tickets weee going to cost them. All I'm going to do when I see any of them is ask how is the playoff ticket fund coming and walk off.

Some folks mentioned Ole Mess?s remaining games. No one mentioned they have to go to the Swamp.
I watched most of UF?s 2nd half last night. IF UF?s QB hadn?t got hurt with 3 minutes left in 3rd Q while leading 10-0 they would?ve beat the Vols. He hurt his foot w/o being hit. If he can play against UM and their defense plays as good as last night they?ll have a great shot to hang another L on the losers.
The Gators have talent.

Coach A doing work for us?😂

He's their Dan. Different but similar. I think lane wakes up this year and sees the light to get out of there if he really wants to win a championship. If he couldn't do it with his team now in a down sec (LSU, Alabama, etc not near what they've been) then he won't ever.
Dan won most of the games he should have, folded in the big games. Kiffen even with more talent can't win some of these big games but has won some he wasn't suppose to. Both have their peak. The thing is I think Mullen could have done well with their team but wouldn't recruit to get it. Kiffen can recruit but can't win a game without faking injuries.
Anyway they'll be lucky to keep him to stay where they are but I think the reality has set in (for some at least), this is the best they'll be. Is Kiffen okay with living in a small town and making a run every 4 year, maybe. Is ole miss okay with that? We'll see. At least Kiffen tries unlike Mullen going through the motions when it came to recruiting, etc
-
Building on that, are they willing to pay him and his staff what they have been only to produce at best what they have this year. They got extremely lucky with their schedule this year. They saw what we had to deal with each year with Kentucky when they had vandy. They got Oklahoma where we got texas. They got a down LSU and we got tamu
