We don't have much talent in defense, but this scheme is awful. 4-5 men in the box = easy runs every time.
Safeties are so deep they can't get to the edge in time to limit the gain.
Maybe we shouldn't have hired a LB coach that's never been a DC... his biggest selling point was that Saban hired him

What did everybody expect. We have an entirely new team with a bunch of transfer portal players who have never played with each other. Welcome to the portal years. The RB from Utah State is not SEC fast and the Dline sucks.
