The new asst we hired is going to be good. He was Jans asst at Kirkwood JUCO and took over when Jans left. He eventually became the AD. He and Jans are best friends so it is big to get him because it means Jans may stay longer than just this year.
The Sperber guy is a star. He is big in the analytics world and is VERY HIGHLY thought of.

Meh on the part of keeping Jan's here. When someone comes along at a better job he's gone. If not he'll be here. But an asst hire won't have any bearing on it.

This guy will. I know some people who know this guy and Jans very well. He is Jans best friend without a doubt. They still talk every day. We also have assurances that Jans will be here this year and next. After that, we may be having a coaching search.

I know a guy who dined with jans in Vegas last night and he feels the 2 new guys are top notch. Brad Peterson was also there.........

free throw shooting will get better when we get better shooters. If coaches could teach FT shooting- the Lakers would have hired the best in the country to coach Shaq

Sperber is a really good addition, he will bring a different mental approach to the game with his strong analytical knowledge
