Arguably the best 3B in the portal. I do not expect him to be the last this weekend either.

Excellent pickup and more coming. Some of y'all gonna be surprised at the quality of players we pickup from the portal.

I noticed that UConn had like 8 Div III transfers. Maybe we should mine the Div 2 and 3 levels some also?

We have at least 9 MLB draft picks this July- and you call Lemon and crew out for lack of talent. Just sit this one out Dawg

LOL is that supposed to impress me or are you saying Lemonis sucks as a coach? Look at our roster next season and see the damn empty in that dugout.
All of the draft guys won't even sign

The 10% K rate tells me he should translate well in tougher competition.

Kohler had similar numbers but a 22% K rate so I had concerns about him from the start.

Look at the K% for transfers. Guys who K vs crappy competition usually get punked in the SEC no matter what their average is or how many home runs they hit vs crap pitching. But if they have a good eye, their odds of being good for us is higher

Really good pick up! Will be a RS junior next year so he has two years of eligibility. I like the power potential and the fact that he is a switch hitter. He almost had a 1/1 K/BB ratio- 26 K's/25 BB's. That tells me he has a good eye at the plate and makes contact. Likely not as good a defender as Kohler but otherwise appears to be an upgrade overall.

    Good start for Lemonis!

    Kohler played the 140 SOS
This guy played the 232 SOS
Looking at his film, his swing is a little long. Definitely has power so I'm thinking he's a .240, 10 HR guy if we're lucky next year. Defensive down grade too.

So same as Logan Kohler with more home runs.

Not sure that I would go with SOS when rating transfer players individually. See RJ Yeager and Colton Ledbetter.

Kohler was hurt 2/3 of the season though. And people wanted him benched but we had no backup. Struggled til his shoulder got healthy. He was solid once healthy.
