Dakota has to have an outrageous babip because he hits the ball so hard but doesn't even put the ball in play half the time. He just needs to realize he has so much exit velo he doesn't have to hit it 600 feet every time. Just barrel the ball up. I'd have given anything to have that kind of exit velo

I told my son and friends that tonight. He just had a not too overly violent swing and hit a fly out to oppo that went out.

Plenty of power. I believe he was actually trying to get a base hit.

Having Dohm back will really help IMO. We also have Hardin and Schuelke available as well.

Also we didn't burn Davis up enough to where we can't use him in game three- which is very important.

If Lemonis has a loaded team he has shown that he won't screw it up. And actually there is something to be said for that.

It's going to be interesting to see if he does anything with the hitting in the offseason. Replacing Foxhall worked really well. And the reality is Lemonis is only as good as his assistants. I wouldn't be surprised if we at least hire a hitting analyst in the offseason if not a new hitting coach.
