That is very good news!

I see people say things like this a lot, but we are near last in the SEC in budget and resources. So this will essentially always be the case.

Earlier today it was Elko as someone I thought was somewhat realistic still but since that doesn't seem to be happening...Lebby and Sumrall would be top choices. I don't have as much of a problem hiring sitting P5 coordinators as some others but I understand the idea of hiring a sitting HC and Sumrall is a good coach. Fritz I like but probably shade toward someone younger unless he had a better plan. Odom was last for me because Brennen wouldn't be coming and I don't like hiring for a coordinator to come with a HC. Just my preference.

Agreed! But for every post that says we are near last in money their is a post stating the truck load of money we just continue to save year in and year out. Spend the money you have especially in this situation. No football program should be looking to bring in a profit and keep it. You want every advantage you can get and money is king. Spend your money.

Our revenues are last in the conference, and our football profit is among the lowest, less than half of Ole Miss. So I am not sure what you are talking about.

I'm not debating that and I'm not looking through old posts. But it has been stated plenty that we as a school remain cheap not so much because we have to as it is because we like to be cheap.

And this is a message board where no one has any idea what they are talking about.

When it comes to budgets and income I feel as if we have some pretty good info.

Correct. And what I am telling you is, we do not save more than others. We just do not make as much.
