0% chance he's back. 10% he even plays in the bowl.
I think we have had an NFL corner every year since Banks.

Boy we've had some good ones over the years. Smoot, Bean, Banks, Slay, Emerson, Forbes, going back a way wasn't it Walt Harris who had a nice pro career with Bears?

Even Broomfield had a great Sr. Year 6 pics and 3 TD's.

Forbes won't be coming back next year but don't count him out of the bowl game just yet. He's leaning toward playing.

I think it would help if we draw a big name like Notre Dame

That's great. I'm sure he will be set up with some great insurance. But I won't disparage him if he doesn't. He's a great Bulldog.

Forbes was targeted in man coverage 15 times. It's low because teams just quit throwing to him... but on those 15 targets he allowed 3 completions, 6 yards after he catch, and 6 INTs, and returned 3 for TDs.
He's an absolute monster and should win the Thorpe. No way he comes back.
PS for those who don't follow the pros- Martin Emmerson has been very solid for the Browns. They'd happy they used a 3rd on him. We have been blessed with some great corners and I pray it continues

Agree 100% he's all Dawg and he's played dinged up this year.

We had a corner that honestly didn?t seem that good for us play for the Giants and have some longevity. Dockery maybe?

Kevin Dockery yep

Another one you have to give credit to Joe and his staff for. They missed out on a lot of game changers in his two full years recruiting here(Derrick Hall alone would've added about 5 wins these past two seasons), but man on some of the ones they did hit on man they HIT.
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

Don't forget Taveze Calhoun. Made some huge plays for us, then spent 3-4 years in the league. Now back on staff too. All Dawg.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

These players are competitors first and foremost.

Loved the way Calhoun played. Way under rated out of high school. Broom and Dockery also good ones. Dockery played in the league too.
I know they call LSU DBU but MSU ain't far behind.
