OM is not a juggernaut but looking at what they lost off last year's NYD 6 team and where they are now in a rebuilding year indicates they are trending up for the future.

Funny thing is 3 years ago when Kiffin was hired ... most everyone on this board laughed their ass off, scoffed at it and whatnot. Almost everyone saying he sucked. And I kept saying don't discount him ... I think he'll be a pretty good coach.

If Cohen had hired him he'd probably would've been fired on the spot and certainly this board would've crucified him

I still say that there is a good chance he screws up there and leaves a mess. It's basically happened everywhere else he has been. And it usually happens around year 3-4.

My argument back then was that "if" Kiffin had learned from past mistakes, I thought he was a good coach.

My gut says the better defense is winning the Eggbowl regardless of anything else. My hope is the team that wants to win the most will win the game. My doubt is, that coach won't be ours.

It’s getting pretty stale with all the OM praise. Yes, I think they are a pretty good team but have benefited greatly from their schedule. It’s the Egg Bowl. Anything goes, right( never know who may take a piss)? We’ve got just as good a chance as they do if we play a pretty good game with few mistakes.
