I doubt KC comes back out of there?s a long delay? which is worrisome, but being he only went 1 inning, maybe he can go again tomorrow.

We had an 8 run lead. You can?t convince me that putting Cheatham, Fristoe, or Walker out there with a clean inning wouldnt have gotten the job done.

If you don't use Talley, who do you have?
Tullar - Nope
Walker - Nope
Stinnett - Used
Tepper - Hmmm No thanks
Fristoe - Hmmm No thanks
No obvious better choice in the circumstance.
I agree with that. Just should have had a shorter leash with beef after 100 pitches and sitting in the dugout for so long. But win this and it dont matter

It wasn't using Talley that was the problem so much as letting PJ get in a bind when he had clearly run out of gas.

I agree and I hope he can come back tomorrow if need be. However I really wish we could rely on Fristoe. Need him to find some confidence

I do agree with that. His velo and command were off on the first hitter he should've come out after that.

Yes I do agree with this. Preston should've come out after the first hitter. He was done.

Think that was my biggest gripe. He pitched tonight beautifully.

I just looks at Johnson?s line 114 pitches, 78 strikes. That is some serious strike throwing right there.

Now we wait to see how bad the hand injury to Yeager is. Cannot afford to lose him.

Ballgame Wrapped in Maroon and White
But...
Tanner Leggett ended the game on a Double Play, should we be concerned that Yeager was hit in the wrist?

Yeah let's hope RJ is ok. We lose him with all the pitchers that are down would suck.

Should have been Fristoe to start the inning. Preston shouldn't have even gone out to start the 8th.
May hurt us tomorrow.

I agreed with sending Preston out there for the 8th, but should?ve pulled him after the lead off walk.
Looked like coaches asked him from from the dugout and he shook them off, which we all like in a pitcher who wants to stay in. He?d pitched so well I think he deserved the right to give it a go in the 8th.
