Here is the starting lineup for today's 1:00 PM First pitch. Also, ESPN is filming the SEC Network commercial of LFL all day today so let's try to fill it up.

Is that 4 RH hitters in a row at the bottom of the order? I bet Cohen's head almost exploded when he made that out.

Dammit, we're wasting Fitts on EIU. The lineup is great, but it also probably means that Walker/Randolph will catch the MI State game. And we'll likely see one of Brown/Robson/Armstrong starting in the OF in Game 2 as well.

Probably not what we wanted to do and really it's not ideal- but it's what works best for us.

Something is just wrong with our hitting approach. I don't know if we just have too many guys dropping the bat head when they swing or what but we have WAY too many popups and lazy fly outs for a team that KNOWS they have little to no power.

I'll take the early run, but it's a damn shame that it took a throwing error to score it.
2 on with no outs and Wes Rea up, and we score 1 on a throwing error. 3 straight pop ups end the inning. Got to get this popup shit out of our system

Gorgeous throw by Collins to nail the runner at 2nd. I think he has to be the everyday C unless he just really struggles at the plate.

For anyone watching via Hailstate, you gotta love these instant replays where they just show the exact same thing they showed already, with the same angles/transitions, and the same shaky camera work. Haha, really gave me a much better look at that grounder to Rea.

You know your hitting is bad when you're getting carved up by Eastern Ill.
No.2 pitcher......A whopping three hits thru 4 innings and one of those a weak infield hit.........Oh yeah, we're being outhit, AGAIN.....
