    84/130 (Div 1/fbs teams) = 64.6% of Div 1/fbs

No one seems to mind crappy bowl games, but everyone seems to hate the NIT when it's harder to make.

For the record, I'm sick of the NIT, but I will watch just like I watch us play in memphis in football
We seem to make it look easier than most to get in the NIT. ****

For sure. This will be a financial loss for MSU just sending the bus up there. I suspect the Pep Band will not go.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Good grief isn?t that the truth. Not to derail the OP but we are working on a renovation right now and had to schedule supplies 6 weeks in advance and hope they were all here in time. SMH.

University has already come out and said it is a two year reno job. It will be completed for 23-24 season. We will play in a under construction Hump next year.

That makes more sense. I was wondering how they'd pull that off in less than a year

You could loose half the seating during renovation and not affect attendance

Agree 7. I'm tired of NIT too but making post season is still an accomplishment. Hard after losing in finals last year.

    The Hump or the program?

Wonder if they can install rims that get slightly larger when we shoot from 3 point? Would work wonders.

I just hope or wish they dig up all those "dead bodies" in the Hump, we need some new life for both WBB and MBB. Seems appropriate to renovate and rebuild a few years.

Generally speaking. We brag on the bowl streak and few teams had done it that long. It is something. We can't ignore the bball post season if we brag on bowl streak.

I'm not saying it was an accomplishment this year. Get real. We have been an NCAAT team for 2-3 years now and blown it.

If the only accomplishment is making the ncaa tourney, then we've only had 11 accomplishments all time. For reference, OM has 9, and no one thinks they're a good program. We arent a good basketball program

This game could end up first one to 30 wins. Both play slow and can't score. I'm sort of kidding but not by much!!!

I know I'll get blasted for this Bc some will say it's poor ole mstate but here goes, why should we be a top 25 team and make the tourney every year?? That's crazy talk. Howland has reached his end of time and we need to move on. But it's pretty unrealistic to expect a ton more than what he gave us. Take away his first two years. I think if you make the tourney here 2/5 times you've done quite well. Which is better than what BH did. History tells us that's the case. Fire away

Agree with this. I am baffled at the way some act like Howland is a pitiful coach and that we could do so much better. But, I guess that's the MSU way....bash anyone who coached here and always think the next coach will be so much better. We just might look back on Ben's tenure as one of our best. Outside of way back in my day with Babe Mccarthy, who has been better. I know some will come back with Richard Williams, but he caught lighting in a bottle by the name of Dontae Jones (one of my favorite all time).

I don't think it's "poor ol State" when you're being realistic. Sure there are expectations but they have to be realistic. Be realistic then build something more and that's great, but if you're not realistic about things you're going to have a lot of angst in your life.

I agree it's time for Ben to move on. Appreciate what he did, but he looks absolutely worn out and the team plays that way.
