Did MSU switch bat brands since last year?
We need to send the bats we have to Ukraine as donations. Maybe the Ukrainians can use them to hit Russians with them

Jake G. just never seems to have our hitters ready to hit early in the year. Being no hit thru 3 by a Grambling pitcher throwing in the 70s is ridiculous.

We have a sponsor deal with Louisville Slugger. Prior to this year, players could use what they wanted.

Hitting coaches.... They help with mechanics and all but.... if you aren't clobbering a 75 mph fastball... it's between the ears.

This frustratingly up and down nature of our bats so far is going to drive me to drink.
We have already had to endure one sport this season of maddening up and down performance.

It's getting comical the excuses though coming out of the booth. State just isn't hitting the ball well. What's so crazy is, it's the whole team (it seems).

Hmmm. I see OM is using Easton bats, not having troubles hitting the ball in the cold weather.

I am sorry but if we consistently struggle through the years to hit low FB pitchers then we never need to schedule cupcakes again. This is an absolute embarrassment to the M over S if our hitters cannot hit this guy

If all teams do not make sec tournament we may just need to lower expectations just to make that one.

This ump has a wide strike zone too. State needs to be more aggressive at the plate.

Like I said last wk, it’s amazing how many pitchers we let look like a mlb hall of famer. I wish I knew how many times we have went 0-3 hits through like 8 innings.
And now we are being out hit by Grambling and Stenett is getting tore up…
