Most of the kids that tested positive had the vaccine. The ncaa is making up ridiculous rules as they go and you are standing here and applauding this stupid shit. You and people like you are the absolute worst. Vandy was around the exact same players that tested positive just like the NC State teammates were but their vaccinated players were not tested. The fact that you don’t have a problem with that and blame NC State kids for this atrocity is ridiculous.

However, the NC State 2B who is unvaccinated and symptomatic let his team down and is responsible for the testing of the vaccinated players (who are likely false positives). The testing rules were well-publicized, and this is the fifth team to get thrown out of an NCAA championship event this year.

Notice how this isn't an issue at Vanderbilt, Texas, Mississippi State, or any of the other 63 teams in the tournament who took care of business.

People aren?t letting their team down for not taking a rushed out vaccine that no one knows long term health issues on, especially when the vaccine is readily available to anyone who wants it and the people in question are in an age bracket that has close to a zero % chance of dying from this virus. People that say this person or any other person is letting their team down for not getting a vaccine are assholes. I and everyone in my family are vaccinated, but I would never question someone who didn’t want to receive this vaccine for a multitude of reasons.

I got vaccinated because I have a lot of elderly family members still living who I am around a lot and I don?t want to get sick and risk it getting to them through me. On that note, if I was in the age group of 18-22 like the players and my family was younger, I completely understand not getting vaccinated when it seems people in that age have worse reactions to the vaccine than COVID, especially males. You can?t blame a kid for not getting it when they are running a bigger risk getting sick from the vaccine than COVID.
