Message boards are a reflection of the total mindset, at least at MSU. They have always been a pretty accurate reflection. Not once has anyone even entertained the possibility that we might lose tonight. We still probably find a way, but anyone associated with MSU for many years could have foreseen this. We were cocky.

Bats need to wake up

Bats have really not been that good for a while. Been forever since our offense has scored double digit runs. Every game has been 5-7 runs. We did get the 8 runs against Stanford off the late 3 run Mac homer but even games where we get 15+ hits we aren't getting a ton of runs.
