****. Great sweep and comeback from the shitshow of,last weekend. Guys showed some stones.
However....Somebody in that bullpen besides liebelt needs to sack up and throw strikes or we won't win in June.

Him having time to get up and get the force at 2nd then get you out in a rundown is not how its supposed to play out.
I'll take my way and be comfortable with it.

He was nowhere close to tagging him, Skelton froze not to avoid the tag but bc he forgot the situation and didn't know he was forced. He should have kept running and then stopped if the guy actually pursued him...it was awful baserunning

Player of the game is Plumlee. Amazing outing for him. Offense did a good job keeping their foot on the gas when up big... in the past we'd have relaxed and not scored those last 1-2 runs. Bullpen was able to get it done but that was more luck than stepping up... Barlow HAS to get better at locating, we simply have to have a lefty with his stuff. White will be good, he's come a long way in location and in a 2nd pitch. Couple more weekends and I think we'll see him as better than Leibelt

Yeah, terrible decision to take Cole out after he K'd that guy to end the inning too. As a coach, you have to realize Colby is your last option, and he has 1 pitch. Can't remove a guy that is fresh in Cole just because you want the "closer" to close. Should have left Cole in until we HAD to use White. I do not like the way our pitching is being handled overall, but so far so good. I just feel like we're playing with fire if we aren't making smarter decisions in June

Great 4 game stretch and bounce back after last week! We're hard to beat at home which is why getting a national seed is so important.
However, our bullpen is pretty atrocious. There's no way around it. At this point in the season, it's just a matter of nutting up and getting the job done. Being mentally tough. And it can be done. Look at Plumlee today. Dude came out and got it done. Our bullpen needs to follow. Other than that, a great weekend, and if we can take 2 of 3 from A&M next weekend, we'll be in fantastic shape for a national seed.

Yep, actually a great week. I would say we should be right back in discussion for a national seed again.

we were up 5 runs vs a terrible hitting team, when else are you supposed to get White some SEC experience? A 1 or even 2 run game and I agree with you, but White needs to pith more than Cole and as we saw, even a horrible outing still got us the win

He was no where close to tagging him because Skelton froze. Considering how hard the ball was hit, if Skelton had tried to run past the 3B and gotten tagged out then they might have even had a shot at getting a triple play.

I didn't have a problem putting Colby in. Lemo wants him to be our closer, and he needs to get more SEC experience. Cole has had his share of crappy moments too. Either way, both need to nut up and stop letting innings like that last one from happening.

Not when we have already used Barlow, Liebelt, AND Cole. You have to finish off a sweep of top 5 UGA....screw experience at that moment. You tossed a guy in there that throws 95 mph flat fastballs with NONE of your reliable bullpen guys left...can't do that. Game was too important. You want to get him "experience", you had two blowouts the previous two games and a fresh bullpen to do it in

No way. Skelton f'd up, but I'll agree to disagree. You don't "freeze" unless they're trying to tag you, otherwise you have happen exactly what Skelton had happen. He screwed up but we swept. HAILSTATE

Need to finish out strong at 6-3 and try and lock up this National seed. I?m afraid after last weekend Vandy is too far ahead to catch for SEC championship but I?d I?ll take a natty seed and trip to Omaha.

From my perspective it seemed like Skelton thought it was a low line drive out. As soon as the 3rd baseman dove and caught the ball, Skelton froze and ran began to run back to 2nd. It was a careless base running mistake regardless
