I would be good with that, actually. Keegan is one of those guys that seems to struggle once he goes thru the order once.

Plumlee has better stuff. Both have a ton of experience. But Plumlee has the better chance for long term success I think on Sundays

Definitely not over yet. Lineup is about to turn over

Cumbest looked as overmatched as a batter can be

The **** is this bullshit? My god I swear the umps have a bias in this one

Nice job self. Need to find a way to get a few sec innings out of him

Not our game in the third game. Sully made a number of defensive adjustments and they ended up helping him this game. Especially at third and in left field. That Mangum hit should have tied the game. Instead long out.

Glad to see Self and Price have some quick innings

Overall can’t be too upset taking 2 out of 3 from the Gators on the road. I’ll take 18-2 and 2-1 start in the SEC.

Cumbest isn't ready for sec pitching

Had to miss Game 3 and just got back home. Reading through the thread it seems everyone is primarily irritated with our pitching in Game 3 but just looking at the score we gave up the fewest runs of the weekend in Game 3 but only scored 2 pitiful runs. What happened to our offense against Florida's #3 starter?

We would have swept Florida but Mangum hit a shot that the left fielder (who had played second all series long) robbed him of at the wall. Mangum had two guys on with that hit and it was a ball that if it wouldn’t of been a homer it would have been off the top of the wall and over. If that goes out, we would have been up 5-4. It was a game saving catch for the Gators. Every defensive adjustment Sully made in game 3 paid dividends as every defensive sub made plays. The new 3rd baseman robbed several guys of a hit. And that left fielder made two great defensive plays. It just wasn’t our day in the third game imo.

A series win AT a Top 10 team.... that's outstanding folks.

And to be honest I think there is a noticeable gap between us and Florida. Had we gone full tilt game 3 we could have won it.
We are better than Florida by a good margin I think and that to me was the most telling thing. It took multiple spectacular defensive plays, us not putting out our best lineup, and our starter not even going 4 innings for them to beat us by 2 at their place. And we had the tying and go ahead run at the plate multiple times in the last 1/3 of the game.

Yep. I think us having to play a DH put us at a little bit of a disadvantage. It factored in leaving Ginn and Leibelt in too long. And it pretty much took Cole out of the series. We weathered it pretty well though.
