Saturday 11:00 AM Kickoff Game Thread

About 1 hour away from the start of the best day of college football of the year.

At 11:00 AM, we got:

Ohio State vs Michigan

Florida vs Florida State - While it may be tough, we want Florida to win. 1. Because it ensures a NY6 bowl for them, which pushes us up, & 2. It ends FSU's bowl streak which is the longest in the country.

UGA vs GT - I guess we want UGA to win as we don't want a loss to Bama next week to cost them a NY6 bowl.

Frankly, I'd rather see the Big 10 not make the playoff & Oklahoma sneak in instead.

IMO, Notre Dame is basically a Big 10 & a playoff of Bama, Clemson, ND, & Oklahoma is more interesting that replacing Oklahoma with a Big 10 team

It looks like the pick play isnt being called in the mich vs OSU game. 2 db's were blocked out on each of those crossing routes, especially that last td run. I guess run it till you get caught, right?

I'm split on that game. My son got his PhD from Georgia, but works for Georgia Tech. He pulls for Georgia so I guess I will too. Plus, I know several arrogant engineers from GTech and they're about as bad as OM fans.

Disregarding how it affects our bowl game I want Auburn to win the iron bowl because **** Bama, Harbaugh to lose out on the playoffs and Mullen to lose a rivalry game to a lesser opponent.

We call those Tech fans "Techmites" - they come out of the woodwork like termites when Tech wins. And yes, Tech fans definitely cling to historic glory like Ole Miss fans. Then again, UGA does too. I grew up an UGA fan in a split family - my Dad is big UGA fan, his brother played for Tech. Thanksgiving was always, um interesting.
