    Egg Bowl History

    How about a little 'happy' for this Happy Thanksgiving and take a little break from all things coaching:

    Current EGG BOWL CHAMPION

    Largest victory Mississippi State, 65-0 (1915)
    Longest win streak Mississippi State, 13 (1911-1925)
    Current win streak Mississippi State, 1 (2022-present)
    Has won 3 of the last 5 meetings: Mississippi State

    Let's find a way this evening!!! GTHOM!!!

    While I give us little to no shot to win, remember, they do t play for state championships, they play for bigger things like conference titles and national titles. No crap that was in their board this week. I can't make that up.

    Yeah. OM seasons this year illustrates that the blue bloods are widening the gap and the rest of us have no shot at conference or national championships.

    They have a good team. They lost to Alabama, as always. They got their brakes beat off by UGA. 10 wins or 7 wins, they get a consolation prize, bowl game.

    Oh a little more history, they beat us bad in 2008 and 03. We beat them bad in 2010, 2011 and 2018. So, remember that if this turns into the lsu game.

    And I believe we've split the last ten Egg Bowls so they're not setting the world on fire with the state championship either.

    Another one, since game back on campus (1991) Bulldogs lead series 17-15. We are OM daddy.
