2015 WR Jay Johnson just committed to State.
Very nice pickup. 6-4, 210.
-
that's three commits for 2015 ... nice tall recvr for our future QB's to work with
-
Love the size. I think that is starting to be more important than blazing speed.

agree. our best WRs have always been big bodies possession type guys who can get it done in a crowd.

Donald Gray, but we know what you mean.

Ah, yes, thank you MzTerry.

I think there's a pretty good chance he ends up on defense...as either a big S or at OLB.
-
I'm loving the size of all the upcoming WR's. Look at Mizzou's WR's this year. They are a force to deal with.
-
Great pick up.
CJ, I didn't see your post until I posted...but I agree wi you 100%. We are building a similar offense to Mizzou.
They have tall WR's, a good dual threat QB and running game, and a stout defense.
Think about our offense with guys like....DeRunnya, Morrow, Christy, Hammond, and now Johnson, all at 6'3 and taller. Combine that with slot speedsters like Lewis, Holloway, Donald gray, Jamoral Graham....plus our TE's over the middle. Then check out the Dak, Shumpert, Robinson, Aeris Williams backfield. I am getting pretty wooly about our offense.

What doesn't get talked about nearly enough is how a great block from a WR can turn a 6 yard run into a 40 yard run.
We're developing big WR's for possession and red zone, but just as importantly, to have dominating outside blockers.

2015 is shaping up to be a helluva class for Dan.
-
I know hes listed as a wr but his future is on D... Right now hes a safety but ill be surprised if he doesnt play OLB.. Really good player
-
All four commits are very highly rated. We have started this class off with a bang. Add in some OL and I like where this class is heading
