    He's 61 and his staff this year was statistically worse than our's with a 7.30 ERA which ranks 250th in the country.

    Absolutely not. In the last 10 years the highest team ERA belongs to Missouri in 2021 (7.24). All games, not just SEC play. Second highest is MSU this year (7.01). Third highest is MSU last year (6.07). This PC hire is absolutely critical for the program assuming Lemonis remains. And it cannot be anyone remotely like Alan Dunn. Selmon and Lemonis better put their heads together along with any advice they can garner from any other college baseball guru willing to consult with them. There is more than one out there that will fit the bill. Several more. And they better be ready to pony up. Which I am confident they (or someone) will.

    As an aside, we also had the highest team ERA in 2015 at 4.51. Man, can you imagine where we would be this year with an ERA of 4.51?
