My apologies for apologizing to Alford after that crappy at bat not seeing a single pitch in the strike zone and still managing to strike out on 5 pitches. And the Captain follows up his last at bat as a spectator with another sizzling double play ball.

Two DPs this game Hancock. Would probably just have you bunt because you are basically an auto out at the moment

Yeah shouldn?t have apologized to Alford in the first place. He got lucky with that double and looked like he didn?t even know it was going to be fair. He was like oh shite I have to run

It would have priceless if Larry would have hit the ground writhing in pain like the guy did several years ago on an eephus pitch.
-
Hit it on the screws. But when you are a bad team, bad things happen to you.

Why couldnt Hines take a strike?

3 times bases loaded. 3 times no runs.

A pro hitter, I turn loose every time in that situation. A college hitter, take. College pitchers walk way too many to not take a strike.

If they had brought everyone in for a play at the plate that one gets by the 2B. But you just saw a great example of coaching. In at the corners, and double play depth in the middle and it worked to perfection.
Our opponents know how to go the other way with a pitch don?t they.

Doesn?t matter, cursed or not. They suck, we have 3 freshman/sophomore?s that could start elsewhere in the SEC, and a bunch of players nowhere near SEC caliber. That?s not evening mentioning the abortion of a pitching staff, but we will win with a shamrock in Lemonass?s ass.

Hines
Jordan
Led
Mershon
Larry
Would start just about everywhere in the SEC
Clark/Hancock would start for at least half the SEC. Hancock has had a good career he just hasnt had a good Sr season
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

We find it difficult to hang on to the rope with our own neck in the guillotine.
-
15 walks and a hit batter.
-
There's been a combined 21 walks and 19 k in this game. Why in the world would you turn a hitter loose in a 2-0 bases loaded spot down 1? Chances of drawing a walk are better than a hit.
BTW, 21 bb and 19'k is horrible. College baseball is really hard to watch
-
We made that strikeout look a lot harder than necessary.

If they actually use the ball/strike review at the end of the season, there will be a lot of out of work umpires
