From a pure excitement/attention/fun standpoint, nothing comes close to 2014. Being #1 and the center of the college football universe for over a month is something no other year can come close to matching.

And it gave us something that will forevermore be etched in college football history and will be a tough trivia question for most any diehard college fan except us: Which team was No. 1 in the very first CFP poll?
