This season is done. Why wouldn't you have Hines at 1B getting game reps the rest of the year if he is going to be 1B next year?

If you are suggesting he will sign a mlb contract, probably so, but not based on how he carves up MSU batters. Nothing has changed for them just because Foxhall is gone. They swing at a breaking ball out if the zone, take a fastball over the plate, then swing at a breaking ball out of the zone. OUR pitchers could carve up OUR batters if they could get ahead 0-2 or 1-2 consistently. Which of course they cannot.
