    MSU vs Vandy Game 1 Thread

    Alright fellas, since I started the midweek thread and we won by double digits, I'll figured I would start this one and see how it goes. Grilling some chicken breasts and eager to see how we respond in SEC play after the embarrassing performance last weekend.

    Matt carpenter was a terrible catcher for us. But had a cannon. Couldn't catch. Highfill makes him look like Johnny freaking bench. He's a skillet. Y'all can want him back there. And maybe he's the future. But crap. And they scored the at a wild pitch. No no it wasn't.

    Was there a dugout warning in bottom of 1st inning because Vandy players sure came out of dugout to congratulate their teammates. Looks like they are fired up.

    Yeah, that was not a wp. That's a pb all day. I was shocked how that scored that. Either way, RH is terrible with the glove.

    Well the Announcers have harped on it but I was about to bring it up. Why with one out, left handed batter, would you position your 1st baseman EVEN with the bag? If he is playing his normal position he fields that hot shot and gets the out. But I digress. It didn?t cost us surprisingly. But it just highlights the failure in the little things with this team. A first baseman would never play even with the bag in that situation unless he was instructed to.

    This is where Foxhall deserves to be fired. HPB, walk, then hit to get bases loaded with no outs. Does our pitching coach goes out there to talk to our pitcher or just let him flounder? He let's him flounder
