Will can throw it far enough. He doesn't have to throw it 65 yards. And IF the run game and play action is effective then he will have more space to throw verticals in that wont require elite arm strength. Lot of ifs here I know lol.

Again he has a very good completion percentage for throws further than 20 yards. He can throw it fine.

Yeah and I believe this new offense will make him even better by taking some pressure off of him having to carry the offense. I think will and the team could have a special season. It costs nothing to be optimistic lol

Agreed. I think this offense will be good for Will.

It is going to be really tough for Will, because he cannot throw the ball 50 yards with some zip or big air.

I'm not sold on our running game for this offense this year to be honest with you. Marks is injury prone, Price had surgery this offseason, and then Pittman is behind them.

There's a reason why they were begging Dillion Johnson to come back.

50 yards in the air? That's tough for any Qb with accuracy. Play action for a deep pass doesn't really require a super strong arm. They're throwing it to a spot timely or throwing them to the open spot. If you're talking a drop back then it's a different scenario.

We never seem to be either very concerned about QB succession planning or very good at it. What happens if Will does not pan out in this offense. Seemingly we haven't had an heir apparent these last few years or now.

That's why we took Mike Wright as a transfer
